Articles on Ghost blogging & being a freelance ghost blogger
It's a new trend for young people of this modern society to have a blog...it's become so trendy that it's almost mandatory for a company, with or without a website to have a blog of its own. Hence, sprung a new economy...ghost blogging. Hiring a ghost blogger for your blog means that this blogger blogs on your behalf, blogs about things that are interesting, relevant (and sometimes irrelevant) to your industry. The ghost blogger does not have to blog about your company all the time because seriously? It will bore the hell out of your blog visitors. So, here are some secrets to ghost blogging and being a professional ghost blogger.

Hiring Ghost Blogger

You don't know his or her real name, you don't know this person working style, you don't know if he's deaf or mute (not that it matters) and worst of all, you don't know if this supposed ghost writer for hire is a real person...or living on this planet. It could be a micro-organism from another galaxy tapping into our technology.
That's stretching it a little bit (a LOT) but it is the truth. We don't know this person.
Is there a difference between hiring a ghost writer for your website compared to hiring a ghost blogger? Oh yes, there is. A big one too!
You see, first thing first - the website is a very professional part of the strategy. It's supposed to be the marketing engine of your company, a portfolio and an online company profile. There is probably nothing much in the website that is linked to the person who created or runs the company. The ghost writer can probably cope a feel around the website and come up with really sound copy for your website.
Now a ghost blogger is quite another thing. It is a lot like hiring a nanny because you want someone who feels the way you do and write the things you would write about. The ghost blogger you eventually hire for the job needs to be in sync with your thoughts...well, he or she does not need to be in the same industry, the ghost blogger just needs to learn. FAST.
The blog part of the website is something more personal. It's almost like a representative, a mascot or something that you humanly associate with. That is why some big brand names hire ghost bloggers for jobs like that and they put a face to the name so that readers get attached to the writer. Most of the time, the big companies hire renowned journalists for this but you don't have to do that. Who can afford these award-winning journalists, anyway, there is a whole sea of ghost blogger for hire out there in the market today.
But finding one that you click with is often the tricky part. Needless to say (but I will say it anyway), once you find the right ghost writer for your blog, don't let him or her out of your grasp. Another one 'just like that' is hard to come by.
